If this is your first time in Ritten, there are a large amount of quality of life features that setting up now will greatly empower you and your team to provide top notch care efficiently while easily staying in compliance.
You don't need to complete all of the features at the same time, but it is highly recommended that you implement some form of them prior to launching Ritten with your facility. Additionally, there is no required order in which these need to be setup, but typically we recommend the following order.
Ritten Configuration Checklist:
First time login tasks: General housekeeping for every user
Configuration Validation [~5min]:
Your Ritten CSM will have setup up your platform based on the information you provided us, it is highly important we confirm the setup is correct.
Confirm the User roles are correct. Roles directly correlate to the signatory powers of a user. For example, a user with the role of "Clinical Supervisor" will be able to sign off on forms requiring that signature.
Confirm that the programs are correct. Ritten allows you to easily transfer patients across the full continuum of care you provide. Every clinical and non-clinical service should be added, but double check to make sure everything is there. If not you let you can add new ones or archive unnecessary programs.
Update Org types: If you track the type of facilities your clients are being referred from, make sure the general categories are correct and present.
Confirm Encounter form requirements: Your Ritten CSM will have done a first pass at designating required and recommended forms for each encounter in Ritten. We want to confirm this setup and add in any additional requirements, or removed extraneous ones.
Compliance Configuration [~10-15min]:
Ritten has two features for ensuring you complete all the required forms for a client in an efficient and timely manner.
Set up Program Requirements: Program requirements allow you to designate a set of forms that need to be filled out for every patient in a specific program, and then quickly audit which client have all of their documentation vs. which clients do not have their required documentation.
Set up Form Due Dates: Certain forms/documentation might need a new version (ex. a treatment plan review every 7 or 30 days). Ritten can notify clinicians if their clients have a form due date upcoming if forms are setup with due dates.
Quality of Life Feature Configuration [15+ min]
There are a couple features in Ritten solely focused at making the day to day workflow of users faster and efficient, and setting them up early will allow your team to quickly learn the system and use Ritten at the highest capabilities as soon as possible.
Set up the Problems Library: Ritten's Problems Library allows you to create a platform wide set of templates for the treatment plan builder. Enabling your clinicians to choose from a set of templated Problems, Goals, Evidence Points, and interventions when creating a new treatment plan for clients.
Set up Answer Library: also known as "quick text", "snippets", and "dot phrases", Ritten's Answer Library allows you to quickly insert sections of text into a paragraph field of a form! Very helpful for your team if they find themselves typing the same text repeatedly for various forms and assessments.
