March

  • 3/6
    • Front and back of insurance card can now be added directly to a payer in the client's funding information

February

  •  2/24
    • New fields on the CMS-1500 allow for the editing of CPT code descriptions. This is important for certain codes, such as H0046, where the payer may request more information.
  •  2/19
    • EDI files can now be uploaded right into Ritten from the ERA screen so that the ERAs do not have to be added manually while payer enrollments are being completed.

    • Claim-level payments and adjustments are now shown in the ERA under "Claim Details"
    • Taxonomy Code can now be added to individual users. This is important if that user is a rendering provider and the taxonomy code needs to be submitted to the insurance company.

    • Invoices can now be created automatically for clients every month. Under billing settings, choose the day of the month and Ritten will create and send invoices for "Client Balance Due" debit items.
    • New Adjustment warnings on an ERA. If the entire amount is adjusted off, there is now a warning before the service line is applied.

    • In the Encounters/Services screen in Billing, there is now a filter for "unbilled Reason"

    • When creating an invoice in Ritten RCM, there is an option to quickly change all outstanding amounts to the Copay amount.
    • In Ritten RCM, when you use the History tab in a claim to click on an ERA, the page will auto-scroll to the claim in question.
    • Added ability to search client roster by middle name

    • Box 19 on the CMS-1500 is now editable and can be sent to the clearinghouse.
    • In Ritten RCM, ERAs will now warn you if there is a discrepancy between the allowed rate in Ritten and the allowed rate from the payer.

    • Unbilled Encounters - when looking at the list of encounters from the billing tab, there is a new magnifying glass next to any unbilled encounter that will open up a tool that shows the billing rules and why the encounter did not match.

Throughout January and February, there have been a multitude of improvements to speed up various screens in Ritten.

January

  • 1/30
    • Organizations can now have customized Tags to help you manage them! 
    • The list of ERAs is now sortable by ERA number.
  •  1/27
    • In Ritten RCM, there are new dropdowns to enable claim information to be changed quickly. For example, selecting a different Facility on the CMS-1500 will quickly change all of the fields in Box 32 at once.
    • In Ritten RCM, the encounter Creator has been added to the claim balances report. This is especially helpful for payroll or tracking reimbursements per therapist.
  • 1/24
    • The layout of the Client funding information has been updated. In addition to the new styling, use the drag and drop feature to quickly reorder the funding in the client's chart.
    • Significant backend updates made to increase page load times across the app.
  • 1/22
    • Ability to bulk-charge copays and a new view of all encounters. In the Billing tab, you can now see every encounter that has been created. There is information about the client, the encounter status, the CPT code, authorization, bundling, and claim status. In his tab, if you are using Ritten RCM, you can charge multiple copays at once, making it easy to collect client payments across a day or week of service. Create claims from this screen, and easily track the status of all encounters across all of your clinicians.

    • Update group encounter logic - when a group encounter is started from the calendar, the list of attendees will now pull from the list of people in the program at the time of the encounter rather than the time the encounter was started.

    • Additional filters on the Utilization review page to more easily identify Auths that will soon run out of days
    • Added new claim batch settings to dictate how services lines are grouped onto one claim (or not)
    • The order of CPT code modifiers will be preserved from the billing rule

    • New Round Intervals are available for Residential! 2-hour and 3-hour intervals.

  • 12/11 
    • The service rule can now modify facilities. Facilities can be dynamically changed on a claim based on the client's program enrollment, allowing for more frequent changes. For example, certain CPT codes can use a different facility or an encounter attribute can be used to change the facility.

    • You can now create orders or update orders without creating a new encounter. Find all orders in the Orders Tab of the Chart.

      • AI Scribe is Ritten's innovative new feature designed to streamline your documentation process. With AI Scribe, you can record live sessions to generate suggested answers for Ritten forms automatically. This seamless integration ensures minimal disruption to your workflow.

      • Here’s how it works: Start recording your session, carry out your session, and when you’re done, select the forms you want populated with AI-generated answers. Later, review each suggestion and, approve them to instantly fill in the corresponding form fields. You can also review and accept all entries at once for added convenience.

      • AI Scribe is here to minimize the burden of note-taking during your sessions and accelerate the documentation process afterward—giving you more time to focus on what matters most.

      • Time and Forms are no longer required if client is marked as absent - you can still add time and forms!

    • New Login: Single Sign On (SSO) Option 
      • We are expanding our authentication options to include Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo. This will be available to your internal users and portal users. 
      • Important to note: Everyone must still have a Ritten password to confirm the account, so portal users have to set up their password first before authenticating with Google or another option.

    • Phone number extensions - available for contacts in the CRM and Organizations

    • Unscheduled Orders --> All Orders 
      • View all medication and action orders for active clients in one place. Search by client name or medication/action name. Filter to only unscheduled orders to create schedules for eRX orders. 
      • View History - This shows all orders of that medication for this client in one module. 
      • Enable a permission to acknowledge Orders - this is recommended for Director of Nursing or any nurses authorized to acknowledge order changes.

    • Bulk Export Forms has a new option, Exclude Incomplete Answers. This has to be turned on by your customer success representative and is meant to be used for longer forms that you have to export consistently for insurance and the like.

      • You can configure what inbox (probably a scheduling inbox) these emails should go to.

    • Quickly audit which encounter types are billable but have not yet been added to the Service Rules. In configurations, under the list of encounters, there is now a flag to warn you if the encounter type is marked as billable but is not configured in any of the Service Rules.
