Summary

This walkthrough explains how to initiate and complete eRX (Dosespot) setup in Ritten for a facility stakeholder and/or a facility ePrescriber. We recommend the primary Ritten contact at the facility support the provider as-needed as they coordinate with Ritten for setup.

Walkthrough

Initial Request:

The provider or primary facility stakeholder should first reach out to their Ritten Customer Success Manager or [email protected].

They must provide the following information to begin setting up eRX (if provider does not have an NPI, only the bold items are required):

  • First Name:

  • Last Name:

  • Email:

  • DOB:

  • NPI:

  • DEA/NDEA:

  • Phone (can be facility):

  • Fax (can be facility):

  • Address (can be facility):

Next, they will receive confirmation that their clinician is set up from a Ritten support team member, providing a six digit clinician ID.

Account Setup:

The steps below may be followed after this ID is provided:

1. The provider should set up their Ritten account (email and password), entering their Dosespot ID in their user settings. Clicking the check will save.

2. Now the provider must open Dosespot and begin IDP.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN NPI, YOU MUST ONLY COMPLETE THE LEGAL AGREEMENTS PROMPTS AFTER OPENING DOSESPOT. NONE OF THE ADDITIONAL STEPS OUTLINED BELOW ARE REQUIRED.

3. Step 1 of IDP: The provider should select the exclamation point icon and follow the promts / questions. Personal information and a credit card is required for an Experian background check.

4. Step 2A of IDP: Complete mobile device one time password authentication/setup. If mobile is not used, a letter will be sent with a code, this can take multiple weeks.

5. Step 2B of IDP: After completing either path (mobile preferred), a questionnaire will open initiating a background check triggered via credit card info. The provider must complete this for IDP Step 2.

6. Step 3 of IDP: Set and save a 4 digit PIN for future Dosespot use.

Please reach out to your Ritten point of contact at this time to request enablement of TFA. If you do not have a known point of contact, please email [email protected] to request enablement of TFA in Dosespot.

7. The Ritten admin user will initiate TFA from the Dosespot admin console. Once TFA activation is confirmed by Ritten, start from your user settings and "Open Dosespot" as shown below.

Now the provider must open Dosespot and begin IDP.

8. The provider must now close and re-open Dosespot from from Ritten, and once again select the orange exclamation point icon, following the promts. This can be done via the user settings and the "Open Dosespot" button.

9. DUO Mobile Sync must be completed on mobile device.

10. Once the user syncs TFA with DUO Mobile, the Dosespot setup is complete, and they can now create eRX orders in Ritten.

11. When a pharmacy order is selected, Dosespot will open and allow ordering prescriptions.
