Reading Walkthrough​

1. Navigate to a client chart and click "New Order"

2. Click on Pharmacy Order

⚠️ If the correct information is not set for the client, you'll see an error message requesting:Please verify that the client's phone, address, and birth sex (found in demographics) are all complete and accurate and try again. If the client is a minor, verify height/weight in biometrics"Please ensure the above information is set.


3. Click on Add/Edit Pharmacies if one is not set for this patient.

4. Once a pharmacy is selected, close

5. Click on Add Prescription

6. Search for a medication

8. Enter the required information and "Save Prescription"

9. Select all desired medications to "Approve and Send"

10. Click on "Approve and Send"

11. The status icon shown below will indicate a successful order within a few seconds to a few minutes. It will update automatically with no page reload.

12. Click on "Done" when you've competed ordering eRX.

13. Ritten will prompt you to create a schedule for tracking in the MAR. It is optional but recommended.

14. If you opt to create the schedule, add the duration, frequency, dose size, etc, and add any additional schedule blocks (for tapers)

15. You can click the order to view its contents, regardless of creating the schedule.

16. With the order contents displayed, you may apply your signature for the order.

17. Type your PIN to add a signature.

18. You have now completed an eRX order in Ritten.
