May 2026 brought meaningful improvements across the full Ritten platform — from faster scheduling workflows and richer clinical documentation to a new Client Ledger, expanded faxing capabilities, and self-serve payment onboarding. Teams will notice smoother day-to-day experiences in the calendar, portal, and lab results, while RCM workflows gain powerful new tools for billing accuracy and transparency.
Scheduling & Calendar
Default event duration per encounter type — Encounter types can now be configured with a default event duration, so end times auto-populate when an encounter type is selected, reducing manual time entry.
Scheduler day view creates events for the selected column user — When creating an event from the day view, the new event now defaults to the provider whose column you clicked — no more extra edits after the fact.
Expanded patient portal agenda — Patients can now view a fuller "All Events" agenda in the portal, going beyond the standard weekly view for better visibility into their upcoming schedule.
Calendar usability improvements for busy schedules — Enhanced the calendar to make dense, high-volume schedules easier to scan and navigate by:
Offering more padding between consecutive events
Showing all calendar guests when hovering on the event in the calendar
Supported Focused View on the Calendar > Week view
Adding a Calendar date picker to the home page
