To configure providers, navigate to: Configurations -> Billing -> Providers and Encounters -> Providers.

You may need special permission to reach this page.

When configuring providers, there are two categories - “person” and “non-person”. “Person” providers let you select from the list of all users in the system, and “non-person” providers let you select from the list of facilities.

The configurations also allow for the creation of supervisor/supervisee relationships. If certain users must bill under a supervisor on a claim, they can be added on this screen. Use the “assign users” dropdown to select the supervisee under the appropriate provider.

See below for a tutorial on how to configure providers and supervisor relationships. To create a non-person provider, please see this article on creating facilities first.

CollaborateMD mapping

Required for all CollaborateMD providers. If your clinic uses CMD, the providers must be mapped between the two systems.

To configure the CMD mapping, navigate to: Configurations -> Billing -> Providers and Encounters -> Integrations.

Before sending claims to CMD, the providers in Ritten must be mapped to their Sequence ID in CMD. In the Integrations configuration:

  • Customer Number: enter the CMD customer number located in the top right of your CMD screen (1002XXXX)

  • Click “Add Provider Mapping”

  • Select the provider you would like to map. See this article for more information about providers.

  • Copy the provider “Sequence ID” from CMD into the “CollaborateMD ID” box.

  • Repeat for each provider

Global Variable Defaults

To configure Global Variables, navigate to: Configurations -> Billing -> Global Variables

In Global Variables, default rendering and billing providers can be configured from the list of providers.
