To configure Attributes, navigate to: Configurations -> Billing -> Providers and Encounters -> Encounter Attributes
Attributes are a powerful tool to track different information about individual encounters above and beyond what is already editable, often for billing reasons. For example, attributes can be configured for different locations: Telehealth, In office, etc. Combined with Service Rules, attributes allow for a lot of customization in billing configurations.
Once the attributes have been created, they can be associated with different encounter types under Configurations -> Encounters
When the encounter is created, the user will be able to select the applicable attributes. If those attributes need to change, then can be edited at any time in the encounter.
