The NAATP Foundation for Recovery Science and Education (FoRSE) offers a simple process for providers to share a limited set of de-identified patient data into a centralized database through APIs. FoRSE uses this data to create free, confidential benchmarking reports for providers, comparing their data to aggregated data from treatment centers nationwide, and to participate in research.

Ritten has started the integration process with FoRSE. Contact [email protected] to start the FoRSE integration. We are beginning slowly, with a form demographics section, admit survey and discharge survey. These will be labeled with the FoRSE logo in the Form Builder.

Below are the key points:

Steps:

  1. Let Ritten know you want to set up a FoRSE integration, send us your FoRSE Facility ID (we also need your client secret to connect), and we will add this to your Ritten account.

    1. Reach out to FoRSE for the facility ID and secret.

  2. Decide which forms should include the FoRSE Admit Survey and Discharge Survey—you must add special sections to your forms.

  3. Once Ritten turns on the integration, data will flow directly to FoRSE.

How it works

  • Data will be sent to FoRSE nightly

  • Demographic information is automatically sent when a patient is admitted

    • If the feature is enabled at any time in a calendar year, all past demographic data will be sent for that whole year!

  • Admit Survey and Discharge Survey data is sent when forms are completed.
