March 2026 brought meaningful improvements across scheduling, billing, clinical charting, CRM, and portal communications. Teams will find it easier to manage complex workflows, reduce duplicate work, and leverage AI assistance β all while benefiting from stronger administrative controls and more reliable automation.
Charting
The new Chart design is now live! The new design offers several improvements, including a much larger area to work on notes and chart information options for specific roles, such as "Medical" or "Billing and Insurance".
Encounters now support multiple time blocks within a single encounter, making it easier to document non-contiguous sessions.
The Update Treatment Plan action is now easier to access while reviewing a plan in the new chart experience.
Billing & RCM
Copy an existing fee schedule into a client-specific fee schedule, reducing manual rate entry and setup time.
Configurable payer groups for auto claim generation let teams automate for specific payers and keep manual review where needed.
Claim attachments are now supported for UB-04 claims, consistent with existing claim attachment workflows.
Eligibility check history is now viewable in a dedicated table with additional filtering options.
Claim configuration now supports omitting CPT codes for certain add-on code scenarios on UB-04 forms.
CRM
Call Tracking Metrics (CTM) can now be integrated with your Ritten CRM!
A new Calls tab in CRM navigation provides a calls table with quick filtering to find calls that still need an associated case.
Users can now link a call to an existing case through a guided modal with search and suggestions.
CTM notes now render in a read-only CTM-specific format, making it clear which notes are synced and keeping case activity easier to interpret.
CRM Cases can now be filtered by created date, making it easier to find and triage the right set of cases.
New warning types for risk tagging β High Risk, Medium Risk, and Low Risk options are now available, enabling standardized client flagging.
Scheduling & Calendar
Bulk cancel events β multiple events can now be selected and canceled in a single action.
Advanced Scheduler filtering lets you narrow results by multiple staff attributes to find the right person faster.
Birthdate is now shown in the calendar guest dropdown to help distinguish clients with the same name.
Automatic cancellation emails can now be triggered for the relevant staff member or client, reducing manual follow-up.
Improved Zoom authorization error messaging provides clearer guidance when Zoom is not authorized.
Portal & Messaging
Staff can now receive email notifications when new portal messages arrive.
Group encounters can now be sent to the portal, making it simpler to share information with clients.
Messaging recipient search now returns both clients and contacts in a single search, improving performance and accuracy.
Medication Administration
MedPass now supports a high-priority medication filter, so staff can quickly focus on clients with urgent medication needs.
The Client Panel now consolidates duplicate medication rows, making medication history easier to scan.
Admin & Operations
Tenant exports now include encounters, with an updated readme to help the team run and manage full exports.
Duplicate chart warnings are shown during chart creation, with a second confirmation prompt to reduce accidental duplicate records.
Forms can now include a Service History section that pulls encounters from a client's chart and supports bulk review and sign-off workflows.
Human-readable filenames in client exports make files easier to identify and organize.
