Setting Order Schedule Defaults

An admin guide to configuring default administration times for each dosing frequency so they auto-populate when schedules are created.

Article Overview

📣 This article is for admin-level users.

When creating a schedule for administering medication or overseeing a client action, Ritten prompts users to identify the frequency of the task. Once a frequency is selected, default times populate the schedule fields. Although these time fields can always be edited, clinic administrators can set what those defaults are, based on the frequency a task must be delivered.

Setting Order Schedule Default Times

Step 1. Navigate to Order Schedule Configuration

To set default times, navigate to Configurations ➡️ Medical ➡️ Order Schedule Configuration.

Step 2. Set Default Times

Set the default start time for each frequency. For example, if clinic administration wants all clients taking a medication twice a day to have their first dose at 10 am and their second dose at 6 pm, they can set that here.

What This Looks Like for Users

Once default times are set, when staff select a frequency while creating a schedule, the times you configured will automatically populate for them.
